Friday through Sunday, January 18 through 20, the South Carolina International Auto Show will provide a venue for the introduction of hundreds of new vehicles – all varieties of transport will be featured in the show. Besides the newest models of the world’s most popular cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles, the show will feature various concept cars, hybrids and exotic customized vehicles that will give show-goers a chance to see into the future of the automotive industry. The latest trends in automotive design will be on display as the South Carolina International Auto Show is expected to provide something for everyone to enjoy.
Automotive brands including Ford, Honda, Buick, Chrysler, Nissan, Saturn and more will display the latest redesigned versions of their most popular lines of cars for 2008. The South Carolina International Auto Show will be the big chance for these auto-makers to ring in the new year as they show off the latest updates to vehicles such as the popular Nissan Rogue, Ford F-250 Super Duty, Honda Accord, Cadillac CTS, Jeep Liberty, Saturn Vue, Chrysler Town & Country and more.
Beyond the latest versions of some of the world’s most popular automobiles, concept cars such as the Suzuki Zuk and the Chevrolet Camaro will provide a look at possible future directions in car design and are expected to showcase some of the automotive design and technology that we are likely to see integrated into our car designs over the next decade. Consumer feedback on these futuristic showcase cars will help the companies to determine which aspects of their design are hits with the public and which fall flat, assisting them in deciding on the best course of design for the next few years by creating a customer dialogue while simultaneously creating buzz and interest for the future of the auto industry.
There will also be several automotive displays at the South Carolina International Auto Show which feature various models of cars from across the entire timeline of the development of popular brands. Lowcountry Street Rodders of Charleston will be setting up a collection of street rods and muscle cars for the public to view. The Foothills Mustang Club will have a set of Ford Mustangs on display, and Carolina Corvettes will have a Chevrolet Corvette collection available for viewing, while Foreign Cars Italia is expected to steal the show with their exotic display of cars from Aston Martin, Maserati and Ferrari.
An additional focus of the South Carolina International Auto Show this year will be to raise awareness about the importance of safe driving for teens. Signs and displays throughout the show will carry reminders of safe driving practices directed at teenagers to help teens understand the best ways to drive safely and to protect the lives or themselves and others while they are on the road.
This South Carolina International Auto Show promises to be one of the most successful yet and is expected to draw terrific crowds with its large variety of displays and various attractions!
