Hyundai showcased its new concept in sports car section by way of Hyundai Genesis Coupe at the Los Angeles Auto Show in Nov 2007. This car is a follow up of the concept car “Genesis” that debuted in April 2006 at the New York Motor Show.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe features a V6 3,800 cc engine and a 6 speed manual transmission bolstering a healthy 300 horsepower. The car has super acceleration of 100km per hour in just six seconds. The Hyundai Company will come out with the 2+2 seater model by the year 2009 in North America, USA and Canada.
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe has attractive styling coupled with a well behaved suspension system that works remarkably well in tight cornering situations. The car looks very striking and appealing with its sleek and sporty look in stark orange paint. The hood is made of fibre in black carbon color which provides striking contrast with the stark orange and the 20 inch alloy wheels add on to the stylish look. The exterior of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe has powerful curves along with sensual sidelines resembling those of the HCD Sports Tourer and HCD9 Talus. The car is rear wheel drive and buyers have a choice between either the 2.0L or 3.8L engine. The driver and occupants are provided with comfortable seating and a nice selection of specialized interior features.
The Genesis Coupe made quite a splash at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It certainly appear buyers will be getting an excellent deal at an affordable price, with the smooth riding Genesis Coupe from Hyundai Motors.
